National Health Center Week celebrates the innovative ways Community Health Centers, such as YourTown Health, provide high-quality care to all individuals, regardless of their financial status.

On Sunday, August 18, 2024, Tara Brown, DMD, Chief Operating Officer of YourTown Health, explained the history of these important institutions as the featured guest on “Lenz on Business,” a weekly, one-hour business talk show on 95.5 WSB. 

During her inaugural appearance, Brown and host Jon Waterhouse also discussed the history of YourTown Health, her journey from dentistry to administration, the impact of long COVID, and how YourTown Health is managing the HIV/AIDS epidemic. 

“In my role as COO, I’m accountable for developing very creative solutions to navigating the different financial and operational challenges to ensure that YourTown Health will continue to make quality healthcare affordable, available, and accessible to all the communities we serve,” said Brown.
