Non-profit organizations address community’s behavioral and primary healthcare needs through collaboration of services

YourTown Health and Pathways Center announced a partnership that will allow convenient access to affordable comprehensive care for patients in Carroll, Coweta, Heard, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike, South Fulton, Spalding, and Troup counties. Patients can turn to YourTown Health and Pathways Center for high-quality behavioral and primary healthcare services.

In an effort to meet patients’ needs, YourTown Health, a network providing primary healthcare, and Pathways Center, a premier behavioral healthcare organization, are now offering seamless patient referral between practices. The affiliation will ensure patients can receive affordable behavioral and primary healthcare services with convenience, as YourTown Health and Pathways offices are in close proximity.

Both practices give referred patients access to the same accustomed low co-payment rate. Neither practice will deny a patient’s treatment due to the inability to pay.

“Integrating care between our two agencies, whose shared purpose is to create access to affordable care for patients seeking behavioral and primary healthcare, is unique,” says Jon Wollenzien, CEO of YourTown Health. “Through this affiliation, we will have the privilege to provide immediate behavioral care to our patient population. I am humbled and grateful to be working with an organization that is equally dedicated to improving the health of our community.”

“Through this partnership and integration of mental and physical health, we will be able to eliminate barriers, reduce stigmas, and improve patient outcomes,” says Jade Benefield, CEO of Pathways Center. “Navigating through the healthcare system can be confusing and frustrating. With this partnership, we will make the process of finding and receiving care much easier.”
